Starting Texas Holdem position

Red seats are Early Position
Blue seats are Middle Position
Green seats are Late Position

The early positions (red seats) are less favorable than any other seats at the table. Player at small blind position has the worst position after the flop and must invest half a bet (small blind before cards are dealt). Player at big blind puts full bet before hole cards dealt and also has a weak position. The player next to the big blind has the worst preflop position and a poor position afterwards. If you are sitting in early position you should be more careful and carefully choose the hands to play .

In early position, you should play:
- High Pairs: A-A, K-K, Q-Q, J-J
- High Cards in the same suit: A-K, A-Q, K-Q, A-J, K-J, Q-J
- Less favorable high cards in differnt suits: A-K,A-Q, K-Q

The Middle position (Blue seats) more favorable than red seat but the late position (especially in no-limit texas holdem) have more advantages. Sitting at middle position you can play more hands . Also if early position players folded you will act first each betting round.

In middle position, you can also play:
- High Cards in the same suit: A-10, K-10, Q-10
- High Cards in different suits: A-J, A-10, K-J
- Pairs: 10-10, 9-9

The Late Position(Green seats) are probably the best position. You will be one of the last to act each round and you can play more hands, but remember that you shouldn't poor hole cards.

The button position (Yellow seat) is the best anyway (you will be always acting the last one )
